At the end of September I'll lose my job as a reporter/producer at WKAR Public Media in East Lansing, Michigan. I've told people for a long time that I have the best job in the world, so seeing it come to an end hasn't been easy.
But, I don't have time to worry too much about my past. My future is much more important and I'm looking forward to whatever changes may come. I've certainly never shied away from a good challenge and I've approached the bad ones with courage and the conviction to put things on the right track.
I didn't choose to get laid off, but this is what I'm faced with. So, here I go!
